What is there in our lives that we have not accomplished and why? Is the timing not right or are we simply to afraid to lay it out on the line and have to deal with the thoughts of a possible failure?  I know for myself, I have procrastinated much due to the fear of failure. But listen to me my friends, we can no longer live our lives this way. We are living in a time that requires a to the end kind of focus. Time is running out!! I have recently come to understand that true happiness lies in doing the little things along the way that will cause us to be able to cross the finish line concerning that thing we need to accomplish, and for many of us, our accomplishments are not about us, but about the welfare of others. Come on, we can do it!!!

If it is worth fighting for, then fight for it. When there is something in life that is valuable and we feel like we could possibly loose it, then we are going to have to fight for it. This kind of fight is the kind of fight that will force us out of our comfort zone. You know, that place we all have that we go to when we want to avoid making the changes we need to make to have the kind of success that most people will only dream about. Stand up and fight for what is rightfully yours by adjusting yourself first and then follow through on the behaviors necessary to win the prize. What do you do when it looks like things are just never going to change? We just have to stick with it. It is extremely difficult to keep putting in the time when there seems to be no visual signs that things are getting better. When we are experiencing this, we should remember the seed that is put under the ground. Days and weeks go by and it looks as though nothing is happening. Then one day the evidence of the work going on behind the seen reveals itself.

To say never when in actuality we do want something to happen is to allow our defense mechanism to control our mind torque that should be focusing its energy on it happening and what to do with it when does instead spending the energy on trying to protect our emotion. Let us say that it will happen and that we will be ready to receive it when it does.

Have you ever been a part of a team. If so, what kind of teammate were you. That is the great thing about team sports, you have to learn to work well with others. All it takes is one self centered person on the team to cause us not to achieve our overall team goal. I played sports growing up and was privileged to take the experience all the way to the college level. I have seen one individual destroy the integrity of the entire mission for the team. It happens on the playing field, in the classroom, on the job , and even within the family unit. It will be easy for us to identify this person and spend a lot of time talking about them. But lets talk about the kind of teammate we need to be. It is really simple in words. We are to find out what our responsibilities are and then do it with excellence regardless of how we perceive the work ethic of another to be. Our focus will encourage others, which strengthens the integrity of the team and sets us up to achieve our goals. When I focus and do my job individually for the team, it will Teach Everyone Around Me.
