Our God is a jealous God. He desperately wants our attention. When we allow the things in this world to get us so busy that we don’t make time for Him, it hurts Him deeply. Listen carefully as I explain. God is a spirit that created us in his image, both male and female. What that says to me is that He possess both the characteristic of male and female within Himself. I know that when I have gone without making time for my wife, she begins to distance herself because she is hurt because I have not invested time into her. I remember once when I was in prayer and talking to God about how needy my wife is, she just wants to be with me all the time and know every detail about every detail. I was taken back at the response Igot from Him. I felt Him say to me, ” Whats wrong with that? That’s what I want from you too, I long to hear about your day, I wait patiently for you to come to your prayer time so that we can be alone together. I want to be wined and dined by you just like she does. And when you choose other things over me, My Jealousy is kindled.” What an eye opening experience. Needless to say, that I have been working to do better about that with both of them. He loves us that much. What else can be said.

Do you have the ability to see past where you are today to where you want to be in the near future. Many of us have difficulty getting to where we want to go in life because we get so bogged down with what’s going on right now. We fail to make long term goals, which in turns, keeps us where we are today, tomorrow. We have to look up from time to time to be able to see what is yet to be seen. Being able to do so will help us focus our efforts for today so that we can be where we want to be tomorrow.

Our confidence comes from making decisions that we can feel good about. Making decisions that we know are wrong and carrying them around on the inside of us as is like carrying around heavy weights on our shoulder while we are trying to work on other things vital to our existence. We are going to have to study to know the truth and work hard and be courageous to apply that truth to our lives. To continue to pile one poor decision on top of another will eventually get the best of us. Everything we decide to do or say wrong chips away at our confidence, just as every right decision builds upon the confidence that we already have. When I get tired, I begin to lose my focus, patients, and desire to do things without cutting corners. Not making time to allow our self to catch up with it’s self is one of our greatest enemies. We  must find a stopping point in whatever we are dong when we reach this point. Costly and sometimes irreversible mistakes occur when we allow ourselves to continue on in this state.

Have you ever stopped to think about where the majority of our prisoners come from? Most of them have been casted  away by all the rest of us. Yes, there are those that are just criminals and nothing else. But I’m talking about their origin, what it is that most of them have in common.  Take a look at these staggering statistics.  Over ninety per cent of them suffered child abuse and abandonment. I heard a story once that a particular card company gave cards to the prisoners to give to there moms on mothers day. Well, it was such a hit that the same company decided to do it again on fathers day.  When the request went out to the prisoner as to how many would like a card to send to their dads, to the companies surprise, they didn’t receive one request for cards to send to fathers. This story speaks for itself.  All in all, hurt plus alone, plus angry equals to locked up most of the time.

We should be very careful as we listen in to the pictures that the media paints for us everyday. They do not have our best interest at hand. Rarely, if ever do they give us an accurate portrait of what happened. The news is brought fourth in such a way that will cause ratings and or push certain agendas that benefit that news reporting agency for the long term. Therefore, if the truth will not cause one or both of those to happen, then we’re not going to hear the truth. We must not allow ourselves to lead blindly to the chopping blocks. We must know the truth for ourselves. Leaving it up to the media will cause our emotions to get on board with something that may not even be real.

Without a doubt, we are still the most powerful nation on the face of this earth. I’m not just talking about our military. As a nation we must individually continue to pursue what we know to be right and not what always feels good to us. We are facing some struggles right now because many of us seem to think that our voice or efforts won’t make a difference. It is time for us to speak up for our country and the things that it was founded upon. I encourage anyone that reads this post to educate themselves about The Constitution of  The United States of America. When a nation falls into a pit, it is primarily because the people of that nation have allowed it to happen by silence and inactivity. Shame on us! The time is now to know the truth and act upon it.
